Travellers Rest Farm Sanctuary is a 100% volunteer-run, Maryland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a Candid Platinum-recognized organization. Our mission is to provide lifelong sanctuary to senior, blind, disabled, unwanted, abused, and slaughter-bound equines, while also educating the public on their care and value. We are home to approximately 50 residents, and we operate without benefactors or corporate sponsors and rely entirely on private donations. Every dollar donated goes directly toward the care, rehabilitation, and well-being of our horses.
